SEACLOR MAC® THE ONLY SOLUTION |
ELECTROCHLORINATION IS
THE CONVENIENT, ECONOMICAL AND SAFE METHOD OF CHLORINATION
Conventionally, chlorination of water may be done using different forms of chlorine like - chlorine gas, bleaching powder & commercial hypochlorite Solution. These forms of chlorine have their own limitations and failures.

HOW SEACLOR MAC(R) ELECTROCHLORINATION SYSTEM WORKS
By mixing the salt and water in a specific proportion the brine solution is prepared in the brine preparation tank. The brine solution and the dilution water are then mixed at a specific proportion at the mixing chamber. The diluted brine solution is then fed into the cell pack which is energised with a suitable capacity D.C. power supply unit (Rectifier). Partial electrolysis takes place in the successive stages and generates Hypochlorite solution.
The hypochlorite solution is made to pass through the intermediate cooler during the process and the hypochlorite solution having a design concentration is stored in the hypochlorite storage tank. By using a suitable dosing mechanism the generated hypochlorite solution is fed into an application which requires chlorination through either manually or dosing system. Before storing the hypochlorite solution in the hypo tank, the hydrogen gas gets separated at the surge tank. The hydrogen gas is directly vented to the atmosphere.
